Phantom Drive problems.
Greetings Martin,
It has now been over a week since I posted my reply to your last response upon your web-page.
This included a copy of my PD diagnostics log.
You have all gone very quiet?
Perhaps you can tell me (preferably by direct email to this address) if any fix is likely for my problems?
(I have also sent a request directly vie email to support@virtualcd.de but got a stupid resonse related to virtual CD! not the product, and no mention of my previous web-mail plus data?)
I look forward to hearing from you,
Regards,
David Marshall.

In my previous reply below I had pasted the PD diagnostics log (which I have not repeated here)but will re-send if requested.
Since my previous mail I have un-installed PD as I was getting nowhere, uninstalled some possible conflicting apps such as Anydvd, and a couple of writing apps. I also updated my ASPI layer to Adeptec's latest (4.71.2). Does PD use ASPI?
In response to your reply I've re-installed PD and tried some burning with EAC (which still fails as before) and a fresh install of DeepBurner Pro; this also fails although does not hang but goes through the writing of an audio CD and then gives "writer error" in the screen text. No data was writen to the virtual CD.
Note: even just after first start-up of PD it gave a System event log error 7 " CD-ROM has bad blocks" as before, that was prior using any writing software!
(A single burn can put around 50 entries of the above in the event log!)
All my burning apps were tested today before PD install on re-writable CD in both my real drives and gave NO errors.
I hope you can resolve this as PD would be a really useful to me, I look forward to an early reply,
