Reassign Differnt Drive Letter to PD

Is there a way from within the program to assign a different drive letter to the virtual drive?

I use a USB drive for backup and PD wants to use a drive letter that the USB normally has. I would like to assign it to a letter further down the alphabet if at all possible. I've tried assigning through device management and it leaves to icons in My Computer which it shouldn't do.

Reassign Differnt Drive Letter to PD

Dear Mr. Weaver,

The drive letter for the virtual recorder can not be specified in the Phantom Settings. Because
Phantom Drive is completely integrated in the system, this setting is determined by Windows. To
change the drive letter, please open Disk Management in the Windows Management Console,
click with the right mouse button on the virtual drive, and select the menu command Change Drive
Letter and Path.

Best regards

Thanks

I did do that, however it left two icons showing the burner, and it didn't work with either of the drive assigments, which was F: by default and Y: when I changed it. Tried switching it back to F: and the management interface told me the drive letter was already assigned. I had to deinstall and reinstall again and it went back to f: only.

Don't worry about it, I got the backup program to recognize the drive and not just the drive letter. So it's all good.

Thank you.

Dear Mr. Weaver,

Thank you very much for the feedback.

I am sorry but I am afraid I do not really have an idea why changing drive letter did not work.

Best regards
